The Active SYM Point of Interface (ASPOI) is an innovative approach to remotely managing and monitoring the power levels of DAS systems. The traditional method of using passive RF conditioners is being replaced by this more intelligent interface that provides a vast improvement.

  • 3. Dual Power Mode
    It handles up to 48dBm on High Power Mode and 38dBm on Low Power mode which allows for a lower insertion loss for low power radios of only 2~3.5dB.
  • 4. Power Monitoring
    It produces graphic charts for each card’s downlink input power changesPower level is measured every hour. Results are stored, analyzed and charted for one year worth of data.

  • 5. Built-in CW tone Generator
    With integrated CW tone generation, it streamlines CW test procedures without walkie-talking between two installers, significantly reducing DAS commissioning time.
  • 6. Safe Mode
    In the event of power failure, it bypasses to “Safe Mode” to ensure continuous service. The downlink path will maintain its attenuation levels with no change, and the uplink will default to 7.5dB insertion loss.
  • 7. Innovative Visual Block Diagram GUI
    User Interface design is so intuitive that we don’t believe one would need to read the user manual to set up and maintain the active SPOI.
    – When you daisy chain the units, remote units are automatically recognized and registered in the Host unit.

  • 8. Monitoring Ports
    Each card has a physical monitoring port for both uplink (3dB insertion loss) and downlink (30dB insertion loss), eliminating the need to put external couplers.
  • 9. “One-click” As-built Report
    With a single click of the mouse, users can download the entire daisy chain as-built report for site commissioning.
  • 10. Alarm Monitoring
    8 alarm parameters (DL input overpower, UP input overpower, DL input low power, LNA, FAN, PLL, DC and Temp.)SNMP V2c and V3 alarmsIt generates alarm report over the user-specified time period based on alarm counts and duration of the alarms.
  • 11. Perfect Match with the iSpectrum
    With the iSpectrum, it’s a match made in heaven. You can watch live RF performance of you system via the iSpectrum and if need be you can adjust your system gain through the active SPOI without putting your feet into the site.With one click, you will be transported from the active SPOI to the iSpectrum RF view screen. For example you change the gain setting on the SPOI, with a click of a button, you will be able to see the live RF signals to see how the gain change affects the signal.
